MICHELLE + OSKAR | A ROMANTIC FALL WEDDING AT ABERNETHY CENTER

If you needed proof that Oregon knows how to show off in the fall, Michelle and Oskar’s wedding at Abernethy Center is it. The trees were glowing in every shade of orange and gold, the leaves had perfectly understood their assignment, and these two somehow managed to look even better against all of it. From their sweet pre-ceremony moment tucked on opposite sides of the chapel doors to wandering the property together for portraits, their day was romantic, playful, and so completely them.




And can we talk about Michelle’s dress? The lace sleeves, the long train, the veil catching the breeze, we were OBSESSED. Paired with Oskar’s light neutral suit and the warm autumn colors surrounding them, everything felt effortlessly elegant without losing that cozy feeling we love about a fall wedding at Abernethy Center. Their ceremony was intimate and emotional, followed by a reception filled with the kind of moments that make us love weddings so much: big hugs, even bigger laughs, dancing, and those quiet little newlywed moments in between.


Our team had the joy of being part of more than just the venue for this one. Abernethy Center also coordinated Michelle and Oskar’s wedding, set up their décor, and managed the details throughout the day (AKA all the behind-the-scenes things we would much rather have our couples not thinking about while they’re busy getting married). There’s something pretty special about watching months of planning come together and then seeing a couple get to simply enjoy the celebration while our team keeps everything moving behind the scenes.


By the end of the night, Michelle and Oskar were laughing, dancing, showing off those new rings, and fully soaking it all in, which is exactly how a wedding day should end. Romantic fall portraits are beautiful (and WOW, did they get them), but it’s the joy in these photos that gets us. This is why we love creating all-inclusive Oregon weddings where the logistics are handled, the details are cared for, and our couples can spend more of their wedding day doing what actually matters: being together.
