While both wedding venues share the same site fee, each offers a unique experience. Abigail’s Garden is our all-inclusive outdoor wedding venue, featuring a picturesque garden ceremony site, elegant reception tent, private wedding suites, and outdoor gathering spaces. Veiled Garden offers a romantic forest wedding ceremony surrounded by Pacific Northwest beauty, paired with the climate-controlled Abernethy Ballroom for your reception. This venue also includes access to our historic Chapel, providing a beautiful indoor ceremony option and weather backup for year-round Oregon weddings.

Abernethy Center is located in historic downtown Oregon City.  This office address is 606 15th Street, Oregon City, OR 97045.  We’re about 20 minutes from downtown Portland and 30 minutes from Portland International Airport via the nearby 205 Freeway.

Abernethy Center does not provide any AV equipment for the Ceremony or Reception. We highly recommend hiring a professional DJ or Live Band to help assist you with AV and MC needs for your wedding.

Absolutely! We love it when couples bring in personal touches and DIY projects—just make sure you run everything you plan to use by your Event Specialist to ensure all elements are Abernethy-approved.

Abernethy Center requires that you use our in-house catering and bar services. However, you are more than welcome to hire additional vendors, such as DJ, photographer, cake, etc. We have recommended wedding professionals on our Preferred Vendor list HERE.

Your Event Specialist is your dedicated point of contact throughout the wedding planning process. From your initial venue tour to your detailed planning appointment, they will guide you through key wedding details including your timeline, catering selections, floor plan, and décor choices to ensure a seamless experience at our all-inclusive Oregon wedding venue. While your Event Specialist oversees venue planning, they will not be present on your wedding day.

Your Event Manager oversees your wedding reception to ensure everything runs seamlessly. They lead our professional event staff, coordinate with your wedding vendors (including photographers, florists, and DJs) and manage behind-the-scenes logistics so you, your family, and your guests can fully enjoy your celebration at our all-inclusive wedding venue.

At Abernethy Center, we partner with you throughout the wedding planning process to ensure every venue detail is thoughtfully prepared. To create a seamless wedding day experience, we require a professional wedding coordinator to manage your timeline, ceremony, décor setup, and event logistics, allowing you and your loved ones to be fully present and enjoy the celebration. We offer a variety of wedding coordination packages, from ceremony assistance to full-service coordination, to support a range of planning needs and budgets. Couples are also welcome to hire an outside professional wedding coordinator; however, coordinators may not be immediate family members or members of the wedding party.
