A Timeless Romance: Carly & Cameron's Classic Chapel Wedding
Carly and Cameron’s April wedding was a perfect blend of timeless tradition and modern, personal storytelling. They chose the iconic Abernethy Chapel and Ballroom as the setting for their celebration, creating an unforgettable day for their family and friends here in the Portland area. Their celebration was the epitome of a classic chapel wedding.
The day began with an emotional ceremony in the Abernethy Chapel. Under the soaring, wood-beamed ceilings and surrounded by the soft glow of candlelight, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows. After saying "I do," they shared a moment of pure joy, ringing our historic wedding bell together to announce their union—a beloved Abernethy tradition and a perfect photo opportunity.
The celebration then moved seamlessly to the elegant Abernethy Ballroom. The sophisticated space, lit by crystal chandeliers, was filled with unique details that told the couple's story. A sign at the bar cleverly showcased their first dating app conversation, and signature cocktails were named after their beloved dog, Kaisa. The highlight was a beautiful cake from Market of Choice, topped with custom bobbleheads of the couple and their pup—a perfect blend of humor and heart.
From the sacred vows to the playful reception details, Carly and Cameron’s day was a beautiful reflection of their love. We were so honored to be a part of it!
