EDEN HOSPICE FLOWER DONATION
Our community partnership with Eden Hospice allows couples to give their wedding flowers a meaningful second purpose by donating them to hospice patients after the event. Abernethy Center coordinates all logistics alongside Eden Hospice’s dedicated team. The floral arrangements are repurposed into smaller vases and then delivered to terminally ill medical patients. Abernethy couples can participate by opting for flower donation with their event specialist.
SUPPORTING LOCAL AGRICULTURE:
A PARTNERSHIP WITH SERRES FARMS
Our commitment to community partnerships shines through our long-standing collaboration with Serres Farms. Since 1902, this family-owned farm in Oregon City has been providing chemical-free, freshly harvested produce. Our Abernethy Chefs regularly visit to handpick salad greens, garnishes, and other farm-fresh delights. We take pride in supporting local growers and bringing their fresh, wholesome produce to your plate. Experience the goodness for yourself by visiting their farmstand from mid-August through mid-October.

In our bustling catering kitchen, our chefs inevitably generate a substantial amount of food scraps. However, we’re committed to reducing food waste. That’s why we’ve partnered with Cahill Creek Farm, where these food scraps are repurposed to make livestock feed. It’s not just about creating delicious dishes; it’s also about being responsible stewards of our resources and making a positive impact by minimizing waste.
