As an Oregon event space near Portland, Abernethy Center thrives year-round, but we’re especially busy in the warmer months with a flourish of enchanting garden parties. This flow gives our team a seasonality with college students and others who work for us in the summer and enjoy other activities or occupations in the winter.

Event Manager: Oversees Abernethy staff, manages meal service, and partners with vendors to execute your wedding vision.

Coordinator: Your venue superhero who ensures smooth pre-event operations and guides the ceremony flawlessly.

Bartenders: Friendly professionals who craft your favorite drinks with a smile.

Event Servers: Execute seamless food and beverage service, providing exceptional care to you and your guests.

Dishwashers: Behind-the-scenes experts ensuring clean tables and sparkling glassware.

LONGEVITY AND DEDICATION

At Abernethy Center, dedication and continuity define our team spirit. Under the leadership of General Manager Heide, who has guided us for a decade, our Core Staff boasts Chef Robert, who has overseen our kitchen for twenty years, and Property Manager Osvaldo, who has tended to our venues for nineteen years. Chef Barry recently marked 18 years with Abernethy, while Bartender Shannon has crafted cocktails for a decade, and Sales Manager Karissa has contributed for nine years. The team has a lot of depth, and this long-standing commitment underscores our supportive work environment and the fulfilling experiences that drive our team to deliver exceptional service. We cherish our work and take pride in providing an exceptional workplace at Abernethy Center.
