Elizabeth Fowler

a11Elizabeth has been with Abernethy Center for seven years and is the master when it comes to planning one of the most important days of your life. She has been planning events since she was in jr. high, planning school dances, regional youth events, coordinating the Portland State University Outdoor Program, and was the co-founder of Junk-to-Funk recycled fashion show contest. Elizabeth graduated with a double major in Marketing and Information Systems. More than anything she loves helping couples create a magical day that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Elizabeth feels blessed to have seen Abernethy Center change over time from a small event center to now one of the premier wedding and event locations.She will be the first to tell you what makes Abernethy Center so special are the people who come together to make your wedding day the best day of your life.

Alyssa Tolman

a-7Alyssa has been an Event Specialist with Abernethy Center since 2010. She truly loves to help clients celebrate their momentous occasions. Alyssa brings her attention to detail, creative energy, and love for event planning to all those who share one of the most important days of their lives with her. She grew up in the Northwest and fell in love with the great outdoors at a young age. When she is not planning “life’s biggest moments” she is hiking, biking, going to live concerts, and cooking delicious vegetarian food.

 

Laura Hunter

Laura has been working in the event industry since 2007; and after she planned her own wedding in 2009, she has been enamoured with weddings. She feels privileged to be a part of planning the celebration that joins two people for the beginning of their lifelong journey together. Laura grew up in Sacramento, California; and graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2008. She has a love for traveling and her travels include living in Hawaii as a surf instructor, eating sushi in Tokyo, glacier walking in Alaska, kissing the Blarney Stone in Ireland and watching the sunrise from the top of Machu Picchu, Peru. She has settled down in Portland where she now resides with her husband and their dog, Fred.
