Rehearsal Dinners

The rehearsal dinner is one of many fun events leading up to the wedding. Traditionally the groom's family is given the task of finding a restaurant for the bridal party and family to share a meal together before the big day. The following is a list of some of our favorite restaurants for rehearsal dinners. I have included spots nearby Abernethy Center in Oregon City, as well as in downtown Portland.

Cypress

Cypress is a downtown Oregon City favorite. They describe their menu as an, "an eclectic menu of Greek, Lebanese, and Indian Cusine." They also have an extensive martini menu. Their Oasis room is perfect for small parties, including rehearsal dinners. 

The Highcliffe

The Highcliffe is a hip, new Oregon City restaurant. Their chef describes their food as, "An unprentious version of an American Grill and Portland-style 'Gastro Pub' done right. Several private rooms are available.

Stone Cliff Inn

The Stone Cliff Inn is a beautiful restaurant located right outside of Oregon City, in Carver, Oregon. Used as a backdrop in the first Twilight movie, the deck of the Inn overlooks the Clackamas river. Their menu contains numerous Northwest offerings and is ideal for a date night, or a rehearsal dinner.

The Verdict Bar and Grill

Located right around the corner from the courthouse in Oregon city, The Verdict's new Holding Cell is the perfect private room for a rehearsal dinner. Their menu consists of everything from sandwiches and soup, to steak and seafood, as well as traditional pub fare.

Bridgeport Brewpub

Located in the heart of Portland's Pearl District, Bridgeport Brewpub is a fun option for your rehearsal dinner. They have serveral private dining spaces where you can enjoy their upscale bar fare as well as their award-winning beer.

Pazzo Ristorante

Pazzo Ristorante is located in the elegant Hotel Vintage Plaza in downtown Portland. Their menu showcases delcious Northern Italian Classics and an extensive wine list. Pazzo has several private dining rooms, including the Pazzo Wine Cellar, which is a unique space for your private party.

Portland City Grill

From any seat in Portland City Grill you will enjoy amazing city views from this 30th floor restaurant. They describe their menu as, "fresh seafood prepared with Northwest, Island, and Asian influences." There a numerous other offerings such as steak, sushi, and beautiful salads. The Portland City Grill has several private dining rooms for your party.
